Having been involved in several startups and serving on the advisory boards of technology companies has kept me immersed in new media technologies, user generated content, blogs, podcasts, etc… For the past several years. This keeps me on the bleeding edge of trends.

So we have decided a few months ago to move forward with an idea that hit me about 7 months ago. There are several huge problem in the blogosphere and in video sharing sites such as youtube and google video. The first problem is data overload and the non ability to effectively and efficiently find and share videos. There are no true video communities. youtube is a distribution platform that has a swarm effect but no true community and way to connect with other like minded viewers.

The problem in the blogosphere is that there is a huge gap between the blogger (publisher) and the readers. Sure the readers can comment and that is great. But you are effectively publishing into a void and you don’t know who is reading your blogs. You have a big gap in forming connections with your readers. If you are a blog reader you have no efficient way of finding other blog readers of the same blog and connecting with them.

Because there is a huge gap we have designed and are building (we have been in stealth development for a while) a solution that will connect the dots and fill the gaps for these 2 pain points.

The solution is simple, elegant, efficient, addictive and fun as heck. VideoSticky.com will launch in early 2007. We will allow people to create their own video channel by aggregating video from most major video sites such as youtube, myspace, google, yahoo, etc. Viewers of these videos can form organically and connect in really cool ways. Don’t mistake this for a video sharing site… it is much much more than that.

The other thing we are doing at VideoSticky.com is letting bloggers see immediately who is reading their blog via a widget they put on their blog. blog readers can also see who else his reading the same blog. Users can then connect and form a community with like minded individuals. This is huge! Oh and there a ton of other cool things that you will be able to do such as make cool widgets for your blogs… but we need to keep that a secret until we launch.

The Story Behind The 7 Figure Code

Mike Filsaime and Tom Beal finally released their highly anticipated 7-figure-code home study course, which usually would be good news. After all, Mike and Tom’s 7-figure code event cost $5000 to attend and was by all accounts UNDER PRICED. That’s because the event was nuts. Mike and Tom actually revealed in step-by-step, case study format the way their whole 4 million dollar PER YEAR business has exploded. Then they gathered advisers that they had paid hundreds of thousands to also give advice:

Rich Schefren, Stephen Pierce, Brad Fallon, Ken McArthur and the even the Rich Jerk’s mad scientist, Magic Ryan revealed key strategies… It was awesome. But Mike and Tom decided to sweeten the pot (maybe a little TOO much-read on you’ll find out why.)

TWICE THE VALUE, 1/10 THE PRICE?

They decided to pile on a bunch of unexpected but really cool bonuses (like free mentoring anyone?) and then they went totally bonkers and cut the price in HALF. (Mike and Tom decided to create some kind of newbie deal, but because of a glitch in the system, anyone can get it.) Now of course they realized that people would freak out so they decided to hold their launch when hardly anyone’s awake-at Midnight! (You know, to avoid all of this hypy launch stuff where tens of thousands of people are fighting over just a few copies of a course.)

But that’s when things got a little "weird."

THE WHOLE THING BACKFIRED

Here’s what happened:

It turns out that a bunch of people all got the same idea to stay up late and snatch up their copy of the course for half price with all of these insane bonuses… And now things are going totally crazy over there. Plus, now it’s not just Newbys that are snatching up the last copies of this thing-everyone’s losing their marbles over this time crunch.

DON’T BLAME THEM, THEY WERE TRYING TO HELP

Hey Mike and Tom are good guys, and they tried to think things though. Heck, if you saw the deal that they were giving you’d think these guys are nice too! The problem comes in that the deal was a little too nice, and now you’re running out of time. That’s because the orders started fast and furious-and then actually SPED UP this morning…

AND NOW IT’S A FEEDING FRENZY

This report is actually pretty cool, so take your time to read it thoroughly. (In fact, I’d recommend you read it even if you don’t want to buy at all!)
